Overview


Shortlist uses predictive chat-based interviews, online competency-based cognitive tests, and voice assessments to screen candidates. This process not only aids in the identification of top candidates, but also provides candidates with a one-of-a-kind, a hassle-free interactive application process that eliminates the stress and anxiety associated with an in-person interview.

At Shortlist, the Voice Assessment module was an important part of a candidate's application process. It enabled recruiters to gain a better understanding of candidates' thought processes and conversational skills, as well as ensure that they don't overlook the softer aspects of a candidate's profile.

It would be a situational question specific to each job that a candidate had to respond to with a voice response.

They could do so in one of two ways.

  1. Using the platform to upload a pre-recorded response file
  2. For candidates in areas where internet connections were spotty, they could call a given phone number and record their voice responses over the phone.
